Capacitive Switch

Our latest product release is the KEE Touch ^TM capacitive product line. Capacitive switches use your body’s capacitance to detect a finger touch on the keypad. The change in capacitance of electrode triggers the micro controller to send a signal that an event has occurred. Unlike a membrane switch there are no moving parts to wear out and can be easily sealed from the external environment. It also offers great design flexibility by offering scroll wheels, and slider switching in addition to a key. In partnership with Freescale ^TM Semiconductors, we are proud to offer you vast design options using KEE Touch ^TM technology.

Design Option

• It is flexible allowing it to conform to curved surfaces
• It can be adhered directly to the rear of the touch surface
• It is ultra thin in design
• The switch is sealed to moisture and contaminates
• The FPC tail is integrated with the circuit so there is no need for a separate interconnect
• KEE Touch can be incorporated on to IMD/IML designs
• Replace expensive and heave glass with plastics of varying thickness
